The Stingray Swim Team season starts Monday, March 5th. They will be using the Lower Pool for practice from 3:15-7pm.
Learn to Swim a Mile March 13~April 20
This program is taught by Maggie Tevis, experienced master swimmer and teacher. It's designed for the recreational swimmer who wants to improve fitness by swimming. You will review the freestyle stroke, open turns, streamline positions off the wall with efficient body positions and judicious use of freestyle kicking technique. You must be able to swim one lap (25 yards) and be able to swim with your face in the water. Earn a "Mile Swimmer" t-shirt!
Tuesdays 10-11am, Thursdays 10-11am, Fridays 11:15-12:15pm; $120/member 6-week session, $160/guest

Coached Non-Competitive 1 Mile Workout March 13~April 19
This 45-minute program is geared toward improving your mile swim. Prerequisite is to have completed the "Learn to Swim A Mile" clinic. Members ONLY. Tuesdays & Thursdays 11:00~11:45am; $90

LAKE LAGUNITAS HIKE
January 9th
Catch a glimpse of musk rats, pileated woodpeckers, and migrating waterfowl and check out the oldest living Madrone Tree in California. The top of Pilot Knob offers majestic views of the Bay Area and a great place to eat lunch. Bring layered clothing, lunch
and water. Sign up at the Front Desk for this FREE event. We will leave the Club at 9am sharp.
PARTNER YOGA January 9th and January 16th
Level I will meet on January 9th from 4-6pm. This class is suitable for all levels....no major injuries please. No partner needed.
Level II meets on January 16th from 4-6pm. Those attending this class should be able to comfortably hold a plank position in good form for 30+ seconds. Other good indications are handstand at the wall and a solid boat pose. No partner needed.
Instructors are Beth Huizenga and Dawn Justice, both certified yoga instructors.

Did you know that your Club membership automatically makes you a member of the Golf Club here at MRHC at no extra charge? You can sign up for our monthly golf outings (April thru October) at special rates. These are mid-week dates only. Our tee times are scheduled one year in advance. We have Men's Lady's, and Mixed groups. Our intention is to provide an opportunity to get out in the fresh air, play some affordable golf, and have fun!
